Στις 18/10/2018 η γυναικεία ομάδα του Ικάρου κλήθηκε να αντιμετωπίσει την αντίστοιχη του ΓΣ Αγ. Αναργύρων στον εκτός έδρας αγώνα πρωταθλήματος που διεξήχθη στο κλειστό γυμναστήριο ΑΓΙΩΝ ΑΝΑΡΓΥΡΩΝ. 

Οι γυναίκες του Ικάρου έκαναν ένα πολύ δυνατό ξεκίνημα και προηγήθηκαν στα δύο πρώτα σετ έναντι των γυναικών του ΓΣ Αγ. Αναργύρων. Μετά από μια δεκάλεπτη διακοπή του αγώνα η ομάδα του Ικάρου έδειξε να χάνει την αυτοσυγκέντρωσή της και έδωσε την ευκαιρία  στην ομάδα του ΓΣ Αγ. Αναργύρων να κάνει την ανατροπή και να την ισοφαρίσει στα σετ.

Το παιχνίδι κρίθηκε στο tai break και βρήκε το ΓΣ ΑΓ. ΑΝΑΡΓΥΡΩΝ να υπερτερεί τελικά της ΑΕ ΙΚΑΡΟΣ ΚΑΛΛΙΘΕΑΣ και το παιχνίδι να λήγει στα 3-2 σετ (22-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-16, 15-12) υπέρ του.
