Στη 2η αγωνιστική του πρωταθλήματος κορασίδων της ΕΣΠΕΔΑ, η ΑΕ ΙΚΑΡΟΣ ΚΑΛΛΙΘΕΑΣ έχασε με 3-2 σετ ( 13-25, 21-25, 25-22, 27-29, 18-16) από την ΓΑΝΣ ΙΡΙΣ, στον αγώνα που διεξήχθη στις 20/10/2018 στο ΣΕΦ.

Τα κορίτσια του Ικάρου προηγήθηκαν στα δύο πρώτα σετ. Με δυνατό σερβίς, με σταθερή υποδοχή και επίθεση επικρατούσαν στο παιχνίδι.

Η εικόνα του αγώνα άλλαξε στο 3ο και 4ο σετ. Τα λάθη των κοριτσιών του Ικάρου έδωσαν το πλεονέκτημα στα κορίτσια της Ίριδας ώστε να κάνουν την ανατροπή και να ισοφαρίσουν στα σετ.

Το ντέρμπι κορυφώθηκε στο tai break όπου οι δύο ομάδες πήγαιναν πόντο πόντο,  αλλά δύο συνεχόμενα λάθη του Ικάρου έδωσαν τελικά τη νίκη στην Ίριδα.
