Μετά το τέλος της τελευταίας προπόνησης πριν από τη δυνατή μάχη με τον ΑΣ ΠΕΡΑ στο site της ομάδας μας έκαναν δηλώσεις η κεντρική μπλοκέρ Κατιάνα Στέφου και η διαγώνια-ακραία Αγγελική Λίνα...

 

Δύο λόγια για τις αθλήτριές μας:
* Η Κατερίνα-Αντωνία (Κατιάνα) Στέφου είναι 16 χρονών και προέρχεται από τα αναπτυξιακά τμήματα του συλλόγου μας. Η ύψους 1,80μ. κεντρική μπλοκέρ προωθήθηκε εφέτος στην πρώτη ομάδα λόγω των γνωστών ανακατατάξεων. Εξακολουθεί όμως να προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες της και στο τμήμα των κορασίδων. Θεωρείται πολύ πειθαρχημένη και στοχοπροσηλωμένη αθλήτρια...
* Η Αγγελική Λίνα έχει θητεύσει στον ΟΡΦΕΑ, αλλά και στην ΑΕΚ. Η 18χρονη ύψους 1,75μ. διαγώνια (εφέτος αγωνίζεται στην ομάδα ως ακραία) είναι αθλήτρια με δυνατότητες εξέλιξης. Βεβαίως εφέτος αγωνίζεται σε άλλη θέση, πλην όμως αυτό δεν την εμποδίζει να ξεδιπλώσει πολλές από τις αρετές της...

 

Κατιάνα Στέφου: «Τον αυριανό αντίπαλο δεν τον γνωρίζω, γιατί εφέτος αγωνίζομαι για πρώτη φορά στην πρώτη ομάδα. Θα προσπαθήσουμε για το καλύτερο δυνατό αποτέλεσμα, από τις δικές μας δυνατότητες εξαρτάται. Είμαι πάρα πολύ χαρούμενη που προωθήθηκα στην πρώτη ομάδα και θα δώσω τον καλύτερό μου εαυτό προκειμένου ο ΙΚΑΡΟΣ να πάει πολύ καλύτερα στη συνέχεια του πρωταθλήματος. Όλες οι αθλήτριες πρέπει να δώσουμε περισσότερη βάση στην προπόνηση και η κάθε μία από μας να βελτιωθεί ατομικά, καλύπτοντας τις αδυναμίες της, προκειμένου η ομάδα να πάρει τη θέση που της αξίζει. Για μένα προσωπικά είναι λίγο κουραστικό να αγωνίζομαι και στην πρώτη ομάδα και στις Κορασίδες, δεν παύει όμως να είναι ωραίο...»...

 

Αγγελική Λίνα: «Νομίζω ότι ο αυριανός αντίπαλος είναι ευκολότερος από το ΙΛΙΟΝ, που αντιμετωπίσαμε στο προηγούμενο παιχνίδι. Ο ΙΚΑΡΟΣ δεν έχει τη βαθμολογική θέση που του αξίζει και για να αλλάξει αυτό θα πρέπει να βελτιώσουμε την υποδοχή μας και να μειωθούν σε προσωπικό επίπεδο τα ατομικά λάθη της κάθε παίκτριας. Σχετικά με την προσπάθεια που κάνουμε στον αγωνιστικό χώρο, νομίζω ότι εμφανίζουμε μια ανεξήγητη πτώση στο δεύτερο set. Χάνουμε την πρώτη μπάλα και αυτό είναι σημαντικό για τη σε βάρος μας εξέλιξη του αγώνα. Όμως είμαστε αποφασισμένες να κάνουμε τα πάντα, ώστε η ομάδα να ανέβει ψηλότερα. Σε ατομικό επίπεδο θα πρέπει να βελτιώσω την υποδοχή μου, γιατί δεν έχω αγωνιστεί στη θέση της ακραίας, ώστε να μπορέσω να διαχειρίζομαι καλύτερα τις εύκολες μπάλες...»...
