Σήμερα σβήνει κεράκια η διαγώνια Στέλλα Μερκούρη, ένα από τα πιο χαμογελαστά πρόσωπα του τμήματος.
Είναι η αθλήτρια εκείνη που έτσι και τη βάλεις να κτυπήσει σερβίς στη μία άκρη του γηπέδου, παίζει να τη βάλει και...καλάθι στην απέναντι μπασκέτα!
Ακόμα δεν θα δεις τη Στέλλα να δειλιάζει να πέσει στη φωτιά. Αντίθετα θα τη δεις να σκυλιάζει όταν δεν παίζει ή όταν κάνει το λάθος...
Για όλους εμάς που έχουμε ταυτίσει τους αθλητικούς αγώνες με μάχες και τις αθλήτριες με αγωνίστριες που πρέπει να πέφτουν πρώτες στη μάχη και στη φωτιά, η Στέλλα αποτελεί...το manual τού πώς πρέπει να μάχεται μία αθλήτρια...
Και είμαστε τόσο βέβαιοι ότι η Στέλλα έπιασε ήδη την ευκαιρία της προώθησής της στην πρώτη ομάδα από τα αναπτυξιακά τμήματα του συλλόγου από τα μαλλιά...
 

Στέλλα στα ιταλικά σημαίνει αστέρι. Και εμείς με τη σειρά μας ευχόμαστε στη δική μας Στέλλα το αστέρι της να λάμπει δυνατά και φωτεινά στον δικό της ουρανό...
