Την τελευταία τους προπόνηση πριν από τη διακοπή για τις άγιες ημέρες του Πάσχα πραγματοποίησαν χθες Μεγάλη Τετάρτη οι αθλήτριες του ΙΚΑΡΟΥ ΚΑΛΛΙΘΕΑΣ στο κλειστό γήπεδο του ΝΙκολάου Ζερβού...
Η προπόνηση πραγματοποιήθηκε σε πολύ δυνατούς ρυθμούς και ήταν εφάμιλλη εκείνων που γίνονται παραμονές ενός κρίσιμου παιχνιδιού. Η συνηθισμένη χαλαρότητα που συνηθίζεται να εμφανίζεται λόγω του εορτάσιμου των ημερών δεν υπήρξε ούτε κατά διάνοια και οι αθλήτριες έδωσαν τον καλύτερό τους εαυτό...
Άλλωστε όλες γνωρίζουν ότι μπορεί μεν οι αγωνιστικές υποχρεώσεις να έχουν τελειώσει, μπορεί μεν η συγκεκριμένη περίοδος να χαρακτηρίζεται ως μεταβατική, πλην όμως αποτελεί ταυτόχρονα και ένα crash test για τις αντοχές τους και ένα οπωσδήποτε σοβαρό κριτήριο για το maximum της απόδοσής τους. Επομένως όλες ανεξαιρέτως αντιμετωπίζουν τις συγκεκριμένες προπονήσεις με την ανάλογη σοβαρότητα και τα προπονητικά διπλά ως πραγματικές μάχες στις οποίες καλούνται να (απο)δείξουν τις δυνατότητές τους...
Από την άλλη πλευρά η διοίκηση δεν έχει λάβει ακόμα -όπως είναι απόλυτα φυσιολογικό- καμία απόφαση περί προσθαφαιρέσεων στο roster της ομάδας και αναμένει και από αυτές τις προπονήσεις κάποια στοιχεία προκειμένου να συμπληρώσει το αγωνιστικό πορτρέτο των αθλητριών. Άρα το στάδιο αυτό αποτελεί κριτήριο για όλους...

* Μετά το τέλος της προπόνησης τα μέλη της διοίκησης ευχήθηκαν στις αθλήτριες για την επερχόμενη Ανάσταση. Ο coach Δημήτρης Καρατζάς τους ζήτησε να αποφορτιστούν από την ένταση των αγωνιστικών υποχρεώσεων, να περάσουν με ηρεμία και γαλήνη τις άγιες αυτές μέρες, αλλά να μην το ρίξουν και πολύ έξω στις γαστρονομικές απολαύσεις, γιατί θα τους περιμένει με...άγριες διαθέσεις την επόμενη εβδομάδα.
* Η επιστροφή στις αγωνιστικές υποχρεώσεις για τις αθλήτριες του ΙΚΑΡΟΥ ΚΑΛΛΙΘΕΑΣ αναμένεται την Τετάρτη του Πάσχα...
